Depending on the season the property’s lake feature becomes an ice skating rink, hot air balloon rides, festivals, yoga in the park, etc.  Nearby is the convention center, Hilton Americas Hotel, and the Phonecia Foods international grocery market! Jonathan’s The Rub

jonathans the rubWaiting-around-open-kitchen-300x225One of the best BYOB’ and open kitchen concepts in H-town is this place!  Executive Chef Jonathan Levine defies tradition and  impresses purists with his crustacean creations….think lobster, halibut, salmon. The menu pleases all including Tex-Mex, steak, chicken, lamb, duck, you name it!. The big hit is the lobster though….claw and tail! Bring your fave wine and indulge in this quaint Memorial-area neighborhood establishment.  Jonathan’s The Rub is located at 9061 Gaylord Street in Houston TX, 77024 or call 713-465-8200. www.jonathanstherub.com
